Store Manager Job

Store Manager – this post has now been filled

We are looking for a Manager to run the Candover Valley Store – a brand new community store and post office set in the heart of Preston Candover.  The store, a community initiative, is set to open for trading in May 2019 and a dynamic and friendly manager is now sought to run the store on a day-to-day basis.  

The anticipated working hours can be negotiated depending on the applicants’ availability but will include some Saturday, Sunday morning and Bank Holiday working. The Store Manager will be supported by the part-time Assistant Manager, a team of volunteers and the management committee.  

The desirable skills we are looking for include:

  • Retail experience
  • Commercial skills and financial awareness
  • Responsiveness to customer needs with a strong focus on service quality
  • Friendly and approachable personality with the management skills to develop and manage a team of volunteers
  • Good computer literacy with experience of EPOS systems and Microsoft Office.

Volunteer Co-ordinator Role
