Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the fund raising effort so far. To date we have received £115,860 towards our target of £200,000.
This substantial sum has come from generous donations and a highly successful share membership scheme. Now we have over 230 members who have bought shares, making it a true community project.
Currently we are applying for a number of grants that may be available to the project, a process that will continue over the coming months.
We truly believe that a new shop and post office will be of huge practical and social benefit to the Candover Valley and we are delighted so many residents have shown their support.
The share scheme is now closed but it is still possible to buy shares if you wish to and the opportunity will also be offered to new residents who move into the area. Share membership application forms are available via the website or from the Canterton Stores.
