June 2018 – Model Rules updated
The Model Rules of the Society (i.e. The Candover Valley Community Store Ltd) have been updated. The rules define the way in which the Society is owned organised and governed.
April 2018 – Share Offer Launch
The granting of planning permission allows us to proceed to the next phase of the project – the raising of £200,000 to enable the new store to be built, fitted out and stocked. Along with donations and grants, we hope to raise funds through a share membership scheme which is open to all, with a minimum investment of just £20. The share scheme was launched in Preston Candover Village Hall on Thursday 26th April, at a very well attended meeting.

March 2018 – Planning Permission Granted
2nd March 2018 – planning permission granted by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. A very sincere thank you to all of those who wrote in support of the application.
January 2018 – Information Update
The store committee held an informal information event in the village hall on 20th January, at which the plans and drawings were displayed and committee members were be available to answer any questions.
